like a seasoned beard wearer, you might think it greater than a little old that I'd must shave...but you can't keep an evil VanDyke without a single! And given my preference for shaving within the shower this seemed like only the ticket.
I have always found this electric shavers crucify my witout a doubt very sensitive skin type so we were pleasantly surprised to find that being capable to use this one under working water ment that my skin may very well be soothed while I shave. The moving heads did a great job of following the curves of my neck, cheeks & jawline, however used to do have to make more subsides over my face that I'm accustomed to with a wet razor which obviously did cause some irratation.
The trimmer on the back handle which flips up wasn't anywhere near competitive with I had expected and I do still resort to a pair of sissors to trim my tash along with sideburns.

This shaver comes which includes a handy recharge dock, but just like all electric shavers I've applied, sadly missing the standard BRITISH ISLES mains plug adaptor so i had to borrow my girlfriend's one particular.

All in all, this can be a neat piece of kit which does the duty nicely, but I still prefer a fantastic old fashion wet-shave razor blade for the closness that you can can't get with an power shaver.

Wahl Ultima 7200 Men's Shaver

Wahl Ultima 7200 Men's Shaver Mains / Rechargeable ZX648

Product Features

  • Mains / Rechargeable operated
  • 3 cut system - first foil cuts shorter hairs, trimmer cuts longer hair and secong foil cuts remaining shorter hairs
  • Automatic voltage for worldwide voltage
  • Nickel dual foil
  • Opposite moving foils for optimum shaving performance
  • Extendable long hair trimmer
  • Charging indicator light
  • Super 5 minute quick charge for 1 shave
  • 60 minutes charge time for up to 45 minutes cordless use
  • Can also be used on the cord as a mains shaver
the Wahl 7200 ZX648 rechargeable shaver gives the great shave without unnecessary gizmos and lights, outperforming the leading brands to get a fraction of the price.

it will be nice to have a decreased charge indicator light. That said, after a few recharge rounds you'll know the battery power. If the battery is beneficial for 10 shaves then recharge for 60 mins following your eighth or ninth shave to ensure but there's more run out, pretty simple really. The stated battery capacity is actually 45 mins but I get it lasts about 55-60 mins, although as with all rechargeable power packs, I expect the capacity will reduce with time. The recharge time is 60 mins that has a 5 min fast charge option for a single shave. The instruction booklet states the 1st charge out of the pack should be eight hours to correctly situation the battery.

The quality of shave is excellent. I also own a Philips rotary plus a Braun foil travel shaver. The Wahl outperforms the Philips and Braun with ease, both in terms of speed of shave and closeness of the end result. For me, the Philips rotary takes about 5 mins to receive the best result (missed hairs not a method for me so I may take me a little longer than others). The Braun calls for about 6 mins. The Wahl is the winner only taking about several mins, giving me just under two weeks daily shaving using a single charge. After using your Wahl, neither the Philips or Braun can remove anylonger stubble. So Wahl is the clear winner for me.

The Wahl cannot be flushed under the tap unlike a lot of todays newer models. However the cutters are easily detached to clean them with soapy water plus the foil is quickly detached and will be washed separately with soapy water if you ever wish.

Accessories include a shielding cap, charge cord, travel circumstance and cleaning brush. You'll need to buy your own two flag adapter plug, widely available for lower than quid.

All in all, a good shaver for the money.

I aquired this item 2 weeks ago and am so happy about it I went out and bought a differnt one! Having shaved with a wet razor to the last 35 years I didnt have a clue wich type and model of electric shaver to buy. I turned to the evaluate pages and after reading very a large amount of decided on this model. it was before a toss up between this and also the Philips HQ7390/17 Williams F1 Mains Rechargeable Shaver, (at double the price) which also had good reviews. I plumped for this one mainly because blade life is 2 years in contrast to 1 year for the Williams F1 (courtessy Philips website) and I'm really pleased used to do. I understand some of this comments re the apparent insufficient power of the motor, but i think the reviewers are confusing power with quietness. It IS very quiet in use but I think has lots of power as it seems for you to cope perfectly with my challenging stubble, even the particularly difficult and long bits without decreasing a bit-even when nearly dispatched. I swear I get nearly if not AS close a shave as I do with a wet shave (Gillette twin bladed disposable)

go forth and buy...

we've used philips shavers since my spouse and i started shaving, many moons ago this model is superb, its very light and quiet and gives quite a close shave in the shortest possible time. but as has been said before in case you are new to philips your skin will administer a little time to obtain acclimatised. it will be worthy of that wait. its a topper, all round.
