On first holding the shaver it truly is light and feels good inside hands. The shaver did not really take long to initially ask for, just over an hour, it doesn't stop here come charged within the box. I did however, find it a bit of a faff getting it in and out from the charging pod originally but after one or two goes it was fine. the particular cleaning station is good and also does clean the razor effectively, not as good as my personal previous razors which had much the same system and it has come out partially wet on a number of occasions. Overall good so far.
I can understand other peoples reviews on the topic of the razor burn when shaving, however after 2 weeks of when using the shaver everyday the burning sensation has now eased as being the skin needs to get accustomed to the action of the razor and now achieves a nice close shave every day. This does mean that the shaver is needed for 4-6 minutes a time reducing the amounts of shaves per charge though that isn't of a concern.
The shaver head does follow the contours of the face really well and removes the hairs in those hard to reach areas including those which have been there a few days and are also about 3mm long. Reading other reviews other users have said how the hairs get pulled out whenever they are too long, this we've not experienced. After leaving the stubble for 4 days there was no pulling or snagging within the shaving head which was extraordinary.
The beard trimmer seems being the sticking point for some people and when testing it within the side burns produced a nice even cut from the hairs with no pulling or maybe snagging. Yes it is a bit fiddly to start using and does look a lttle bit cheep, but it does produce an improvement.
